Bowling News:

I finished 5th after the finals (eindstand) in the B class Netherlands championships 50+ hcp tournament in A'dam Duivendrecht on Oct 18th.

I bowl in both the Duo and Trio leagues on Wednesdays ( senior division ) - in Barneveld (scores and standings on site)

For 2010 the team Smurfit-Kappa MNL (duo) took first place in the house league

My Brother Joe needs your Help

Mijn broertje Joe uit Alaska heeft kanker en vecht hier al een jaar tegen. De vezekeringsmaatshcappij heeft nu een punt bereikt waar ze niet meer willen uitkeren voor een beenmergtransplantatie. Hij heeft al een tweede hypotheek moeten afsluiten en ze (Joe en Val) hebben nog steeds enorme schulden bij het ziekenhuis. Als iemand wil helpen, meer wil weten of wat tips heeft, kijk dan even op mij link.
My brother Joe in Alaska has been courageously fighting cancer for over a year. His inability to get insurance to cover a needed bone-marrow transplant has inspired my family to request help from the NTA fund site ( a nonprofit organization). He is doing whatever he can to decrease his debt including putting his house up for sale. Anyone wanting to help out or find out more should click the above link.

On behalf of Joe and my family, I would like to thank the local bowlers and the linedancer that have contributed to this effort.

Thanks also to my sisters Lisa and Trudy and some local retail sponsors who raised over a thousand dollars last weekend via a huge rummage sale in Duluth, Mn.
